A G-Shot is a small injection of collagen filler that’s placed inside the vagina into the G-spot. The G-spot is a special area of the vagina that helps trigger an orgasm in women when stimulated during sex. By filling the G-spot, it creates a larger surface area for increased stimulation, making sexual experiences far more pleasurable.

The G-Shot® is a painless office procedure performed in your doctor’s office under local or topical anesthesia. The actual injection usually takes less than 8 seconds and the total office visit time is usually less than an hour. A specially designed speculum is used to assist in the delivery of a specified amount of filler directly into the G-Spot after local or topical anesthesia.

The G-Shot augments(enlarges) the G-Spot. This results in a G-Spot about the size of a quarter in width, and one fourth of an inch in height (meaning the projection into the vagina). Note that results do vary.

Before you schedule your first G-Shot treatment consultation, you probably have some questions, such as:

Before the procedure: In the consultation process at Climax Aesthetic Surgery with our providers and staff will educate you on the G-Spot and how to localize it. We will go over risks and complications verbally and, after all of your questions have been answered, you will sign a consent form. It is important to the doctor that every patient is completely informed of the risks, complications an alternatives to the procedure.

You will then privately perform a self-examination based upon the doctor’s instructions and after you are comfortable with the localization of the G-Spot, the procedure will begin.

Topical anesthesia will be placed along the anterior wall of the vagina at the location of the G-Spot. 30 minutes later you will be positioned on the examination table as if you are getting a PAP smear and a pelvic exam and measurement of the G-Spot will be performed. This measurement will be transferred to a special speculum. The speculum, which has the location of the G-Spot on it, will then be inserted into the vagina and the filler will be injected. A tampon is placed (the tampon is to be removed in 4 hours). The entire G-Shot injection procedure takes approximately 5 minutes.

The risks to having a G-shot include but are not limited to bleeding, infection, vaginal injury, urethral injury, nerve injury, pain at injection site, swelling at site of injection, Nodules or induration at the injection site, discoloration of the injection site, poor effect, allergic reaction, mucosal necrosis, hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid filler.

Women who receive a G-Shot will be pleased to know that there is no recovery period after the treatment. The only expected side effect may be slight bleeding. Immediately inserting a tampon right after the injection helps to prevent this. In all, the whole process takes five minutes, so a woman can schedule a G-Shot on her lunch break without taking any time off work. Within 4 hours you can resume normal sexual activity. Results last 6-12 months.

Results do vary.

A G-Shot can benefit any woman who experiences vaginal orgasms. If the woman’s primary method of orgasm involves another technique, the G-Shot won’t have any effects. Otherwise, most women qualify for the procedure and we will make sure the patient does not have any contraindications at the initial consultation. Women with a history of sexual dysfunction should seek other treatment options.

The cost of the G-Shot will depend on how many syringes of filler a patient requests to be placed in her g spot to enlarge this sensitive area. The more filler a patient desires, within reason, the more her procedure will cost. For the initial G-Shot, we at Climax recommend using a single syringe (or 1mL) of filler, and only increase the surface area if indicated.
